Sunrise Bells Bowl Canvas Prints

Sunrise Bells Bowl Canvas Prints Bells Beach is a coastal locality of Victoria, Australia in Surf Coast Shire and a renowned surf beach, located 100 km south-west of Melbourne, on the Great Ocean Road near the towns of Torquay and Jan Juc. It is named after John Cavert Bell of the family that first took up a pastoral run there in the 1840s. The beach and coastal reserve are listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. Just one point down from the famous Victorian point break of Bells Beach is its little brother, Winkipop. Like Bells, it is a right hand point break that is world class on a good day. Bells Beach is an A-grade surf break & one of the world's most famous beaches. The Bowl feeds on big Southern Ocean swells and will hold waves up to the 15ft range. Long drawn-out carves and steep turns are the way to tame the Bowl's powerful walls. Point Addis Marine National Park, which includes the world famous Bells Beach, is renowned for its environmental values, but recreation also plays a key role in its management. Parks Victoria supports the Rip Curl Pro and congratulates all management efforts. Although the final scene of the film Point Break is set at Bells Beach, the scene was not filmed there. Bells Beach is a straight stretch and the beach in the film is a cove with spruce trees atop a hill. The actual location of the film was a beach called Indian Beach, in Ecola State Park, located in Cannon Beach, Oregon, USA.
